We Walked Where Wesley Walked!
We're back from our 4-Day/3-Night trip to Savannah and St. Simon Island / Epworth-by-the-Sea in September. John Wesley was appointed by Gov. Oglethorpe as chaplain to the new Georgia colony. He served the colonists in Savannah and at Fort Frederica. We visited historic Methodist churches in Savannah and St. Simon. A surprising highlight was the Wesley museum at Epworth -- so interesting!
Mixed in with our heritage touring was some great food and enjoyable entertainment. We look forward to sharing our experiences with you soon!

Support Missions While Publix Shopping!
The Murphy-Harpst Children's Home in Cedartown, GA is a mission institution of the whole United Methodist Church (the Children's Home in Decatur is a ministry of North Georgia Methodists). They work to reclaim the most severely emotionally-damaged of our children and have a wonderful record of success. If you are a Publix shopper, you can show them this card each time you shop and a portion of your purchase goes to support M/H, without adding to your grocery bill. Cards are available each Sunday on the literature table in the back of the sanctuary..
