The first Saturday in October there will be a bike ride to benefit three ministries important to many persons in Hall County, both the recipients of their work and as those motivated to help provide such ministries: Good News at Noon, the Good News Medical Clinic, and Adults Protecting Children.
Trinity was asked to be a co-sponsor of the event, but we did not have funds available this year. However, I do know we have cyclists in the church and I hope we can be helpful in this way.
The ride is Saturday, October 2, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Riverbend Baptist Church. There is a $25.00 registration fee if you register by September 15, $35.00 after that. The ride includes a T-shirt, goody bag, and lunch from Johnny's BBQ.
Last year's inaugural ride netted some $4,000.00 to aid these ministries. You can help in exceeding that goal in 2010!
